This black and yellow Labrador painting by Amy Reges, OtterTail Lab Art, was inspired by the various Labrador Retriever rescue organizations with which I volunteer and donate artwork. 25% of profits from sales of this print will support Labs in need.
I love to make a connection with anyone who views my art by touching a shared sentiment. I prefer simplifying and abstracting elements to express a feeling, emotion or moment in time rather than replicating my subject. I have always loved animals, with dogs being particularly special. Bringing out their spirits in art feels like sharing their love. As a self-taught artist, I enjoy working in an array of materials and mediums - acrylic paint on canvas is my current favorite.
