This painting is of her when she was 12 years old at the biggest Labrador Retriever show in the world where she won yet another Veteran class. I love to make a connection with anyone who views my art by touching a shared sentiment. I prefer simplifying and abstracting elements to express a feeling, emotion or moment in time rather than replicating my subject. I have always loved animals, with dogs being particularly special.
