The original painting was donated to the local humane society fundraiser with 100% of profits going to help Max and the other dogs looking for homes. 25% of profits from sales of this print will also be donated to the local humane society to support the dogs in need (all donations given by Amy Reges, OtterTail Lab Art).
I love to make a connection with anyone who views my art by touching a shared sentiment. I prefer simplifying and abstracting elements to express a feeling, emotion or moment in time rather than replicating my subject. I have always loved animals, with dogs being particularly special. Bringing out their spirits in art feels like sharing their love. As a self-taught artist, I enjoy working in an array of materials and mediums - acrylic paint on canvas is my current favorite.
